User Fees
Dear Parent/Guardian:
As of Fall 2010, an updated Medford School Committee policy requires that all participants in a Medford High School interscholastic athletic program pay a $200.00 User Fee for the following sports Football and/or Hockey, all other sports participants will pay a $175.00 User Fee. However, no family is to exceed $500.00 for the three sports seasons (fall, winter and spring). This has been the policy for over fifteen years. Users’ Fees represent an important source of revenue for the varied and comprehensive sports programs offered to students attending Medford High School. This fee is not refundable. The fee covers transportation costs, equipment, athletic insurance and reconditioning of equipment.
Any student currently participating in any sport should complete this form and return to your coach with a check for $200.00 (if playing football or hockey) and a check for $175.00 if participating in any of the other sports at Medford High School. Please make the check payable to the Medford High School Athletic Department. You can also pay the user fee online via the athletic webpage. Once on the athletic webpage click on user fees, then click here to pay online. Please print a receipt of payment and give a copy to your child’s coach. No student will be allowed to participate in a sport without the required fee. Please do not make a payment until your child has completed tryouts and is chosen for a team.
