Reminders About Our Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

As we navigate the aftermath of the snowstorm, below are some important reminders regarding our arrival and dismissal procedures at the McGlynn School. Safety is our top priority and your adherence to our arrival and dismissal procedures helps us keep our students safe.

We have consulted with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation in the development of our safe routes to school plan at the McGlynn Middle School. Please take a moment to review the slides that review the following:

• Park & Walk Locations

I would like to reinforce that if you are picking up your child in the afternoon from school, please park in the Hormel Stadium parking lot. You can direct your child to walk over to that lot to pick up their ride home. During inclement weather, we often see an uptick in the amount of caregivers attempting to have their child get into the vehicle on Freedom Way. This is prohibited due to safety concerns. We appreciate your adherence to the plan.
