Moving On Ceremony
Dear McGlynn Middle School 8th Grade Students, Parents, and Caregivers:
On Monday, June 16 at 7:00 PM, (rain date June 17) we will gather to celebrate your completion of middle school. This event will take place at Medford’s Hormel Stadium.
The celebration will be held for both the Andrews and McGlynn Middle Schools on the same evening.
The Andrews Middle School will start at 5 PM and the McGlynn Middle School will start at 7 PM.
Please note the following:
★ Each student will be given five (5) paper tickets for their guests. The ticket will need to be presented to the gate attendant at the Moving On Ceremony to gain entrance.
★ Students will sit on the field. The graduation stage will be on the field.
★ All guests will sit in the bleachers. There will be two designated entrances for guests.
★ Parking is available in the Hormel Stadium parking lot.
★ Students need to arrive at the ceremony at 6:15 PM and will report to the front entrance of the McGlynn Middle School. Directions concerning where the procession will begin will be provided to students ahead of time.
★ Students will have a Moving on Ceremony rehearsal during the school days leading up to the ceremony.
