Citywide Spring Clean Up
Mayor Lungo Koehn is sponsoring a:
CITYWIDE SPRING CLEAN UP
on Saturday, April 15th from 10am-1pm.
(Rain date is Sunday, April 16th from 10am - 1pm)
We're looking for VOLUNTEERS & AMBASSADORS
WHAT IS A VOLUNTEER?
A VOLUNTEER is someone who wants to take part in the cleanup at a location that has already been established.
WHAT IS AN AMBASSADOR?
A VOLUNTEER AMBASSADOR is someone who has requested an area for the cleaned up. Each designated clean up area has a person (or a group) who has graciously volunteered their time to be the point person to a specific area of their choosing. Each ambassador will pass out supplies, be a liaison to the DPW, and will be giving suggestions to fellow volunteers on areas that need trash, and debris removal.
How do the cleanup areas get chosen?
Each Ambassador chooses a cleanup location.
