STEAM Workshop
The McGlynn Middle School and Andrews Middle School librarians are excited to continue our series of STEAM Workshops in partnership with Medford Public Library. The next STEAM Workshop will take place on Thursday, April 10, 2:15-3:00 PM at the Andrews Middle School library. In this STEAM Workshop, students will make their own air-powered balloon cars. Please see attached flyers for more details.

The STEAM Workshops are led by librarians from Medford Public Library and co-facilitated by middle school librarians Mr. Campbell and Mrs. McGlynn. They provide engaging, hands-on learning experiences in the areas of science, technology, engineering, art, and math. More details below:
- Workshops are held after school (2:15-3:00 PM) on the second Thursday of each month, January-May. Workshops are held alternately at the McGlynn and Andrews libraries. See schedule.
- Thursday, January 9 @ McGlynn - Mini Trebuchets
- Thursday, February 13 @ Andrews - Rube Goldberg Machines
- Thursday, March 13 @ McGlynn - Bristlebots
- Thursday, April 10 @ Andrews - Balloon Cars
- Thursday, May 8 @ McGlynn - Fuse/Perler Beads
- Each workshop is open to McGlynn and Andrews middle school students.
- Attendance is limited to 20 students per school. Registration is required.
