Our students are currently in the midst of a Mural Project workshop hosted by our Art teacher, Mrs. Surabian, and professional muralist, Anna Dugan. During these hands-on workshops, students are designing and creating a mural for our school working alongside a professional artist.
The group is looking for our feedback on the proposed designs for the mural in our school. Please take a moment to look them over and vote here!
We are happy to announce that last Saturday, April 5th, a joint delegation from the Andrews and McGlynn Middle Schools participated in the annual Middle School Ethics Bowl at Harvard University.
We would like to invite you to register for a FREE Music Production class led by former Tufts University student, Ben O'Toole. The Music Production classes will take place at the McGlynn Middle School on Wednesday nights from 6-8 PM starting on Wednesday, April 16th. Register for this class by clicking this link.
On Monday, June 16 at 7:00 PM, (rain date June 17) we will gather to celebrate your completion of middle school. This event will take place at Medford’s Hormel Stadium.
The celebration will be held for both the Andrews and McGlynn Middle Schools on the same evening.
The Andrews Middle School will start at 5 PM and the McGlynn Middle School will start at 7 PM.

MPS is searching for Interest and Input as we look to hire an Assistant Superintendent for Academics and Instruction along with a Director of English Learners.
The McGlynn Middle School and Andrews Middle School librarians are excited to continue our series of STEAM Workshops in partnership with Medford Public Library. The next STEAM Workshop will take place on Thursday, April 10, 2:15-3:00 PM at the Andrews Middle School library. In this STEAM Workshop, students will make their own air-powered balloon cars.
Medford Public Schools will be hosting a job fair for current and 2025/26 school year job openings across the district!
The fair will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at Bistro 489 at Medford High School.
