Welcome and please join us for our first SEPAC meeting of the 2024-2025 School Year! This will be a General Business Meeting and will provide an opportunity to meet other parents/guardians, find support, ask questions socialize, and review the SEPAC 2024-2025 SY calendar.

The McGlynn Middle School will be hosting a picture day working with our partner, Jostens. Picture day will take place for students and staff on Friday, September 20th in the auditorium.

For the past several years, we have been partnering with the DentaCare In-School Dental Prevention Program. This program is a school-based dental program that offers dental screenings, sealants, fluoride varnish, and referrals to dentists in the community. All services are provided at NO COST to students and their families. 

The McGlynn Middle School is once again partnering with the Tufts University Literacy Corps to offer free Math, Writing and Science tutoring for our students in grades 6 through 8. If you are interested in registering your student(s) for additional Math, Writing or Science support, please visit the Tufts University Literacy Corps website in order to learn more about the programming. 

The Medford Public Schools Health Services Department and the Medford Board of Health invite students and caregivers to attend the Health and Social Services Fair on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Andrews Middle School!

In an effort to create the best learning environment for your child, we are excited to share that the district will once again implement an assessment tool that will provide you and your child’s teachers with information so that we can establish precise instructional levels and identify areas to focus on for academic growth.

The McGlynn Middle School Meet the Teachers and Curriculum Night will be held on Thursday, September 12th from 6-8 PM. We invite you to join us to meet the teachers, find out information about classroom routines, expectations, communications and curriculum.

Middle School Fall Sports tryouts begin this week! The registration portal for fall middle school sports (baseball, softball & cross country) is open. All students must register and have an updated physical sent to the school nurse prior to tryouts.
